Can a Drummer Get Some?

Travis Barker is back, collaborating with all sorts of people to produce drum-heavy masterpieces. This first single off his upcoming album hits hard both musically and lyrically. Keep an eye out for his upcoming album, Give the Drummer Some.

Fire It Up, Firemouse

Yet another flawless mashup from The Hood Internet. God, I love these guys.

The Hood Internet - Fire It Up, Firemouse (Lil' Wayne vs Modest Mouse)

"Ain't nobody fuckin' with me man."

By the way, Gorillaz are releasing their latest album soon, Plastic Beach, and so far what I've heard is sick. I'll probably buy it or cop it sometime this weekend, and post a few tracks, be ready for that.

Throw Some Paper Planes Over The Wonderwall Forever

Yeah. Mash-up names are usually pretty awful. But the actual mashup isn't, so that's always nice. Check out Dino Roc's DJ AM Tribute Mash. It's got "Forever" in it, which seems to be everyone's favorite song since it came out. It's been growing on me as well, for its lyrics at least. And if you know me, I'm sure it comes as no surprise when I say that I think Lil' Wayne's got the worst verse. My favorite line goes to Kanye. "You're such a fuckin' loser, he didn't even go to class, Bueller." Anyway, check out the recently released video for Forever, as well as Dino Roc's mashup.

Let Gangstas Rock

White Folks Get Crunk has been delivering mad crazy mashups lately. I feel like I've more or less been forwarding their featured mashups. Dig this Lil' Wayne and Chromeo mash up.

Kevin Rudolf & Lil Wayne vs. Chromeo - Let Gangstas Rock (DJ Royale Mix)

P.S. Nyle's "Let the Beat Build" video, the one I featured here 2 weeks ago, is now youtube's spotlight featured video. Kid's getting his rec finally. You heard it here first.

Basement Jaxx...And Lil' Wayne

Whatchu know about Basement Jaxx? Probably not much. Well they sing "Where's Your Head At?" That's some 2001 ish, but at least you know who they are. Bet you didn't think that they looked like this though. They're an electro-house duo from the UK who know how to rock your face off.

Well fresh off their newest album, appropriately named, "The Return of Basement Jaxx," comes this.

Basement Jaxx - Raindrops (drop)

This is far from anything remotely close to hip hop, so sorry hip hop lovers. My advice? Turn this up to at least eleven and rock your fucking face off.

Oh yeah, and this sounds like it could possibly be Lil' Wayne's next radio jam once it makes the jump from internet to mainstream; it sounds extremely radio friendly to me. And the radio loves Kevin Rudolf.

Lay You Down

Snagged this one from Leak Jones.

Tyga Feat. Lil' Wayne - Lay You Down (drop)

You can probably guess what kind of song this is just by my taste in hip hop. Smooth rap again. It's not often I'll feature Lil' Wayne, but Wayne really just sits back on this song for the most part. If you didn't know any better, you'd guess he was humble, opening the song with "Hello world, my name is not important. Today is about Tyga."

A little about Tyga. This Compton rapper is cousins with Travis McCoy, the lead singer of Gym Class Heroes. He gained recognition by opening for Gym Class Heroes and Fall Out Boy. His track, Diamond Life, was featured in Madden 09 but his most popular song is probably "Coconut Juice," the video below. He signed onto Young Money Entertainment (Lil' Wayne's record label), and Decaydance Records (Pete Wentz of Fall Out Boy's label), so we can definitely expect to see more of this kid.

Viva La Milli

Let me just say right off the bat how much I haaaate the song "A Milli." I mean, the verses aren't bad, it's just that awful beat.

But so yeah, it's gotta be a pretty damn good remix for me to be posting it. But alas, I have two remixes of the worst song in the world. But these are like, good. Check it out.

More Kanye

Okay. I gotta say, I'm bored of posting 808s & Heartbreak tracks. Therefore, I'm not posting the latest few tracks that were leaked onto the internet and have lit up the music blog "industry."

Kanye West - Streetlights
Kanye West Feat. Lil' Wayne - See You in My Nightmares
Kanye West Feat. Young Jeezy - Amazing

Those are the latest three tracks to be released from Kanye's new album. But I'm not posting them. As of now, I'm done with posting music from 808s & Heartbreak. I'm sick of the album and it's not even out yet, and I don't want that happening.

These tracks are easily accessible online though, so you won't have a hard time finding the tracks. Enjoy em, and although you'll only be finding a few new tracks on the album if you buy it, I still encourage you to buy it. This album is going to be criticized. Hard. But don't listen to critics. Listen for yourself.

JT

Probably an inappropriate picture for a freshly released new track of JT. Eat your hearts out ladies.

Justin Timberlake recently released this new track off his next album, which may or may not be titled "Mr. Timberlake." Not much info on his album though, we'll see what surfaces in the future. Either way, I dig it.

Justin Timberlake - Magic (sharebee)

....Nice use of the synths JT.

Oh.
P.S. Lil' Wayne's not dead...Whatever. I'm over it.

Lil' Wayne Pronounced Dead...Maybe.

"
Dwayne Carter was pronounced dead at 02:36 Am, November 1st, shortly after arriving at Tulane University Hospital."

Could be rumors, but we'll see if it hits a more reputable news source. There have been plenty of hoaxes of the sort.

Shout out to DJKB for the insight and for the music recommendation above.

Make-up Post

Sorry for lack of posts! Halloween was busy as balls. Halloween, slutty dress up day, is an awesome holiday for dudes.

I've got some awesome tunes for you to make up for lack of updates. So, maybe we can still be friends. Any zshare I use from here on out will be straight to download, so you won't be able to listen to it first, until they get their shit straight.

Usher - Love in this Club (MSTRKRFT Remix) (direct)

Kanye West - The Stalker Song (Never Lettin' Go) (zshare)
Britney Spears - Womanizer (Teenagers Remix) (direct)
Kid Cudi - Down and Out (direct)
Metric - Monster Hospital (MSTRKRFT Remix) (direct)

And if you haven't heard or jammed out to Katy Perry's Hot N Cold yet, you're a whore. But here's the rock remix; nothing too different, but you'll hear the difference.

Some side notes:
-Michael Jackson has officially turned down a Jackson 5 reunion tour. Not cool.
-Lil' Wayne is an asshole.
-November 4th is election day. "You can vote however you like."

More to come. Much love.
