The Right Kind (of Love)
I've been jamming out to E-603 a lot lately, as well as a lot of other mash up artists. One of my new favorite past times is to listen to this mash up music and find an unfamiliar sample that I like a lot. I do some research and get my hands on the original song that was sampled. Not only does this broaden my music knowledge, but it makes me appreciate even more how mash up artists have incorporated the sample into their music flawlessly. I'd highly recommend you try this for yourself. The good news is, since you probably won't try it on your own, I do it a lot and I want to begin sharing the great music that has provided mash up artists with great samples.

Blackout
"Passed out, waiting for your rescue, last night had me in the best mood. You say we had a conversation, but all I remember is..."
In celebration of getting blacked out on our last days of the school year, I bring you The Knocks.

B.o.B
Something's up with the picture uploader right now...I'll get it figured out soon.
In case you live under a rock, B.o.B's "The Adventures of Bobby Ray" was released a few days ago. This album will please both rap and rock lovers, and if you're not into B.o.B, then (you're an idiot) you should still appreciate the quality of the album. It just literally sounds good; it was evidently very well produced. B.o.B's flexibility in the genres makes him especially unique and is perhaps the reason that I deem him the best musical artist to enter the game in years.
Anyway, I fucking love B.o.B and this album. Add this to the list of artists that I (and you!) knew before he blew up. Good luck Bobby Ray.
I'm actually not leaving you with any tracks from the album, I want you to buy it. My favorite tracks from there are probably "The Kids" and "Letters From Vietnam," so if you don't buy it, (you suck) then check em out on youtube or something. Since I'm on the topic of great B.o.B tracks, I'll leave you with a track that didn't make the album, although I have no idea why it didn't.
